Welcome Monica Loewen as Executive Director!

The Society is excited to announce that Monica Loewen will be our new Executive Director.  Monica has a rich knowledge of our community and brings with her a wealth of experience in managing non-profit organizations.  We are thankful that God has seen fit to place her in this position and we look forward to working with her so that Immanuel Christian Schools can continue to educate our children in the Light of God’s Word.

Thank you also to the Hiring Committee which includes Mitchell Muizelaar, Derek Kreft, Heidi Neels, Amy Ovinge, and Angela Van’t Land, being supported by Jason Ferrie.  They have done a great job managing the application and interview process and are continuing their work in selecting the Director of Discipleship.

Hi! I’m Monica Loewen and I’m thrilled to be the new Executive Director for the Society.  I have a long history with Immanuel Christian Schools - first as a student (Class of ‘94), then a parent, with all three of my kids attending ICS from K-12, as a staff member from 2006 - 2013 and most recently, as a member of the Board. 

I love this school and am excited to be a part of continuing to grow this community.

While I am familiar to many of you, there are also many new faces I’m looking forward to meeting. Be sure to stop in and say hello if you’re at the secondary campus.
